This is a climbing zone known as "The Pit" in northern Arizona. In the original photograph, the ground was only about six feet beneath the climber. There were two people there sitting among a pile of gear and dirty rope and garbage. I got rid of them, naturally, and replaced the ground with the surface of the sun and a starry backlit sky. Now, he's climbing an asteroid headed for the sun or something.
