The
world is more or less in its last stages of life. Technology has peaked
here and crumbled there. Industry sprawls over there but an old growth
forest thrives here. The hub of the world is a sprawling metropolis
named Founder's City after a one-time man who was almost considered
a god and was certainly considered a saint. He was the Founder, and
because of him came The Brotherhood.

Some
twenty-five years earlier, the body of a man was found perfectly preserved
deep within the Earth. Shrouded in secrecy, he was spirited away before
the rest of the populace had a chance to speculate on who he was. But
the Founder knew. He was the messiah. And he was going to bring him
back to save a world in its death throes.

The
Founder made five clones of the mysterious man before realizing his
efforts were in vain. It had taken him twenty years to realize the fruitlessness
of his pursuit. Before he could destroy them, they escaped, and were
set free to roam the world.

Five
years later, the world has grown worse. The Founder has founded a group
of genetic elite, all inhabitants of the earth are compared to the perfect
woman, his daughter Angelina, and rated on a genetic scale. Founder's
city is ringed with slums and the genetic dregs. Pollution is pumped
into the skies, threatening what nature there is left everywhere. The
Founder rules the world and there is rumors of a cataclysmic event about
to take place.

And
deep within the slums of Founder's City, a one-handed man named RedCloak
awakes with an urge to travel north...
